| D&C specializes in building custom, high-end windows. We use the finest woods available, combined with full mortise and tenon joinery. Our years of experience allow us to use state-of-the-art epoxies in conjunction with traditional joinery. D&C maintains an inventory of antique glass that we use in many of our historic windows for maximum authenticity. We also offer windows utilizing nitrogen cylinders, mortised directly into the sides of the sash. This, combined with a block and tackle hardware package, recreates the look and feel of historic sash weights without the extreme bulkiness which allows us to gang several windows together without wide spaces separating the windows.
